Meet the Teacher!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Stone, and I’m so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year! I was born and raised in Kingsburg, and I’ve always loved the sense of community in this small town. I earned my degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Child Development from Fresno State, and completed my teaching credential through the STAR program in Sanger. This will be my fourth year teaching at Lincoln, and each year has been such a rewarding experience.

Building strong relationships with both students and their families is something I deeply value. I believe in open, honest communication and see our partnership as a team effort to support your child’s growth and success. One of the biggest values I instill in my classroom is the importance of honesty. I always tell my students that telling the truth, especially when it’s hard, is one of the bravest things they can do and it’s how we truly learn and grow. My goal is to create a classroom environment where every student feels welcomed and valued. 

I’m looking forward to an amazing year of learning, growth, and fun. I can’t wait to work alongside such incredible students and supportive families!

This year, we will be using Class Dojo as our primary method of communication. Class Dojo is a free app that allows you to see your child’s daily points, view classroom photos, get important announcements, and message me directly.

I prefer using Class Dojo over Aeries because messages come straight to my phone, allowing me to respond more quickly and efficiently. As someone who grew up feeling easily stressed, I truly understand how helpful quick answers can be. If I can ease any worries for you or your child, I want to be there to help. I do my best to respond to messages throughout the evening whenever possible. Of course, you’re also welcome to reach me by email or by calling the school office.
